By using ResumeUX, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years of age; by creating an account you represent that you are 18 or older and capable of entering into a binding contract.
2. The service
ResumeUX is a free online resume builder and career toolkit that lets you create, edit, analyze, and export resumes and related documents. Core features, including building, importing, and exporting, are available without an account or payment.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use ResumeUX for creating and managing your own career documents. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, redistribute, resell, or white-label the service or its templates as your own product.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to the content you enter (your resume, cover letters, and related materials). You grant us only the limited permission needed to process and display that content to provide the service to you. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the information you provide.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to create false, fraudulent, or misleading documents.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Do not upload content that infringes others' rights or violates applicable law.
6. AI-generated output
AI features produce suggestions to help you write. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI output before using it. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular application, and you should verify all facts in your resume.
7. No employment guarantee
The service helps you present your experience effectively, but we do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any specific outcome from applicant tracking systems or recruiters.
8. Availability & changes
We provide the service on an "as is" and "as available" basis and may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep core functionality free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
10. Data responsibility
You are responsible for the personal data you include in your documents. If your resume or references contain personal data of other people (for example, referee contact details), you confirm you have their consent or another lawful basis to share it. For that data you act as the responsible party; we process it solely to provide the service to you.
11. Refunds & cancellation
The core service is free, so no payments or refunds apply today. Our Refunds & Cancellation policy describes how billing will work if paid plans are ever introduced, and how to delete your account at any time.
12. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
